Meet the Lam Family and eight day old baby Stella. I drove up to Oklahoma City for this morning session a few weeks ago. We had our first "cold front" come through and the weather was perfect for Stella to be outside for a bit. We shot at Will Rogers Park. I had never been there but wow -- it really is a beautiful place for a shoot. I plan on shooting there again, for sure. Here are my picks from the shoot!

Messner Family
This past weekend I went towards Cache, Oklahoma and did an in home session. The Messner's just added a new member to their family and wanted to do a newborn and family session. With it being so hot we thought we'd play it safe and shoot as much as we could inside their home. However, we did end up sneaking the little guy outside for a few seconds and I got a couple shots of him in some natural light as well.
Rayne - Newborn.
Last Sunday afternoon I had a session with baby Rayne. Rayne was only 1 week old! I'm pretty sure he is the youngest newborn I have shot so far. We had a little forty-five minute session behind my future mother and father in-laws house. It's the only place on our three hundred acres that has green grass right now and it's only green because we planted a couple of months ago. The session didn't last too long because Rayne was fully cooperative and slept the first twenty minutes or so. I used an old Borden's milk crate and an old bowl I picked up a couple of days before at one of my favorite antique stores in Duncan, OK. Here are some of my favorites from the session...
Baby Rylee.
Yesterday afternoon I shot baby Rylee. Rylee's parents are good friends with Cody. Cody went to high school with Chris (Rylee's dad). They live up near the city but came down to Lawton for the weekend. Cody and Chris went out to the deer lease to hunt and Jennifer came over with Rylee to do pictures. Rylee is a little over two weeks old and wasn't in the best mood but we did manage to get some good shots! When we first started shooting Rylee was having a hard time giving up her pacifier. So we would let her suck a bit and then hurry and pull it out and I would snap shots as fast as possible! Here are some of my favorites...
